That belief is what brought The Alpenglow Trail Co. together with Coava Coffee Roasters, a Portland company known for their uncompromising approach to sourcing, roasting, and craft. I have been a longtime fan of Coava because their coffee is simply excellent and consistently so, and the care they put into their work aligns deeply with our values.

At our trailhead gatherings and Friday trail + coffee socials, you will often find Big Doug, our 1995 Chevy Supervan turned coffee van, brewing fresh pour overs before we head into the forest. The ritual is simple. Heat the water, grind the beans, slow down for a moment, and share a cup together before the miles begin and again when they end.

Coava’s coffees are thoughtfully sourced and roasted right here in Portland, making them the perfect companion for early trail starts, foggy forest mornings, and long conversations after the run.
