Cancellation + Refund Policy

Effective January 1, 2026

Liability Waiver

All cancellation or reschedule requests must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable). Requests take effect on the date they are received. All timeframes refer to Pacific Time (UTC −08:00).

1. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due at the time of booking.
    Your reservation is confirmed once trip or event fee has been received

2. Cancellations by Participant

Refund eligibility is determined by when written notice is received:

  • 30 or more days before your scheduled date
    → 100% refund

  • 7–29 days before your scheduled date
    → 50% refund

  • Less than 7 days before your scheduled date
    → No refund

3. Rescheduling & Transfers

  • Support Packages (Self-Guided, Premium, Fully Guided)
    One complimentary reschedule is permitted per booking, subject to guide and shuttle availability. The rescheduled date must occur within 12 months of the original scheduled date.

  • Group Event Tickets
    Tickets are fully transferable to another participant at any time prior to the event. Please notify us in advance with the name of the replacement participant.

4. Cancellations Initiated by Us

If we must cancel a trip or event due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Force majeure events (wildfires, floods, landslides, extreme weather, government closures, public health emergencies)

  • Unsafe trail or weather conditions

  • Failure to meet minimum participant requirements
    (Some guided trips and group events require a minimum of 8 participants. You will be notified at least 14 days in advance if minimums are not met.)

You may choose one of the following:

  • A full refund of all fees paid, or

  • A credit toward any future trip or event with us, valid for 12 months from the original scheduled date.

5. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants purchase travel or trip insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, including:

  • Last-minute cancellations or delays

  • Medical emergencies or evacuation

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged gear

6. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of booking governs your reservation. Please review the policy carefully before booking.
