friday trail
+ coffee social
When: Every Friday / 7:45 - 8:45am / Starting Oct 10, 2025
Where: Forest Park /Parking lot behind the old Children’s museum / Look for Annalou with a red bandana by the big tree.
Join us for a weekly community gathering centered around Shinrin-yoku—the Japanese practice of forest bathing. Whether you’re in the mood for a slow, reflective walk, a trail run, or simply popping open a camp chair (yes, we’ll bring a few of those too) to listen to the breeze in the trees, this is your space to show up as you are.
No pressure. No pace too slow. No speed too fast. Come unwind, reconnect, and let the forest do its thing. Complimentary coffee is on us! We’re beyond excited to partner with Coava Coffee to fuel our adventures. We’ll be pouring their instant line (both caffeinated and decaf).
In the spirit of sustainability, we encourage you to bring your own mug. We’ll have a few extras on hand if you forget, but this way we can enjoy the forest together while keeping our footprint small.
Routes: The overall vibe for this is more based on time, at whatever pace suites your mood. That way we can get back with time to enjoy a little coffee time together. Our recommendation is to go out 15-20 minutes and turnaround. There are many trail options out there so it’s easy to make little baby loops and explore different spots each week. Here are a few options if you want to follow a route:
4..2 miles
Bonus: If you’re signed up for one of our upcoming adventures, the Friday Social is a perfect chance to meet fellow travelers, build camaraderie, and even get some training miles in.
